Gift cards are the simplest way to spend crypto on ordinary things: groceries, fuel, flights, phone credit, streaming. You pay in Bitcoin, Lightning or Monero and receive a code by email or on screen within minutes.
Stores differ in whether they need an account, which countries and brands they cover, and when they ask for identity. Larger orders and certain brands can trigger a verification request. Each listing shows what the terms say.
9 gift cards usable without mandatory ID are listed and graded here. 0 have terms that rule out identity checks entirely, while 2 reserve the right to ask for ID after a risk flag. The highest Safety grade belongs to Cryptorefills (7.1/10), and the highest Privacy grade to ProxyStore Digital Goods (8.2/10). 4 accept Monero and 0 publish a Tor onion address.

Hack or exploit Bitrefill
Bitrefill disclosed on 17 March 2026 that an intrusion beginning on 1 March, traced to a compromised employee laptop, gave attackers access to production systems and hot wallets. According to press coverage of its report, roughly 18,500 purchase records were accessed, including email addresses, payment addresses and IP addresses, with about 1,000 containing encrypted names. The company said it would cover all losses from operating capital and suggested a state-linked group was likely responsible.
