What Travala is
Travala is an online travel agency for hotels, flights and activities that describes itself as a crypto-native travel platform and accepts more than one hundred cryptocurrencies alongside cards and other conventional payments. It runs a loyalty programme tied to its own token and offers a best-price guarantee on hotels. Paying in crypto keeps card details out of the booking, but travel itself is not anonymous: airline and hotel reservations require the traveller's real name and, for flights, passport details, and an account with an email address is used to manage bookings.
