What SecureShift is
SecureShift is an instant crypto swap site, founded in 2023 according to its homepage, that needs no registration and charges a 1% fee; it also advertises a card on-ramp, loans and a profit-sharing token. Its terms (August 2024) say an order sent with funds clearly linked to crime may be suspended until the origin is explained, with identity verification only as an exception. Its later AML/KYC policy (September 2024) goes further: it says mandatory KYC may be required on any transaction based on risk assessment, with ID, proof of address and a selfie, and that transactions may be frozen during investigations. The about page contains claims that conflict with the swap service (hosted wallets, 100x futures, cold storage, both 5M+ and 50,000+ users). No operating company is named.
