About Exodus

Exodus is a multi-asset software wallet for desktop and mobile, published by Exodus Movement, Inc., which says it has released software since 2015. Its terms describe it as software for managing self-custodied digital assets; no account is needed to use it. Swaps and purchases inside the app are executed by third-party providers listed in the terms (swap services such as ChangeNOW, Changelly, Exolix and SimpleSwap, and on-ramps such as MoonPay and Ramp), whose own terms govern those transactions. The terms add that Exodus may screen users, transactions, wallet addresses and IP information against sanctions lists. It also integrates Ledger and Trezor hardware wallets and an optional custodial Lightning wallet from a third party. The ExodusMovement GitHub organisation publishes libraries but not the wallet application itself.
