What Bitania is

Bitania is an instant swap service for BTC, LTC, XMR, TRX, ETH, SOL, AVAX, USDT and USDC with floating (0.4%) and fixed (0.8%) rates. Its terms name the operator, Bitania Exchange Inc in Panama, state that Bitania is the counterparty to every swap and pays out from its own liquidity, and say identity is not asked for and never will be as a condition of swapping. Each step of a swap is confirmed in a letter signed with the service's published PGP key. The site needs JavaScript, but the same swap can be done through its SimpleX Chat bot. Users deposit to an address Bitania generates, so the service holds the coins while a swap runs, even though it calls itself non-custodial. A swap that cannot complete is refunded to the refund address minus a refund fee.
