User report: funds blocked and KYC required over earlier address activity
A commenter on the directory kycnot.me's ChangeNOW page reported on 21 May 2025 that funds were blocked and identity verification imposed because the sending address had previously interacted with another swap service that later closed. Separate reviewers on a public review site have alleged larger holds after documents were supplied. ChangeNOW's public position is that AML reviews determine whether it can lawfully process, refund or must hold a transaction, and it disputes such posts.
