What YBEX is
YBEX is an instant swap service with floating and fixed rates, a Private swap mode and a 25% referral programme. Its AML policy says checks are run both by its own AML officer and by its liquidity provider, a cryptocurrency exchange. Deposits linked to high-risk sources (sanctions, gambling and others) may be frozen indefinitely until full identity verification, and so may any transaction the liquidity provider asks about. Funds that fail the review are neither exchanged nor refunded. Deposits from listed services, including Wasabi Wallet, are blocked. Users must confirm they are not EU/EEA residents, and VPN use to get around this is grounds for blocking. No operating company is named.
