What xchg is

xchg is a small instant swap service with no account: the user sends a deposit to a temporary address and receives the swapped coin, or the same coin on another network. Its terms state that it never asks for a name, ID, selfie or source of funds, including for payouts, returns and held deposits. Deposits and payouts are handled by a third-party payment processor that runs its own checks and can hold a deposit; the terms say a held deposit is returned to the refund address rather than released against documents. Finished orders are deleted after about a week, a signed warrant canary is published, and the clearnet site is served through Cloudflare while the onion site is not. The terms are dated 24 September 2026 and name no operator.
