What Onion Mail is

Onion Mail is an email service run by Onion Search Engine LLC, with a web interface on the clearnet and at an official onion address. The FAQ says registration is anonymous, with no personal data, recovery email or phone number, and that stored mail is encrypted server-side with the PGP public key a user uploads. The free plan has 50 MB and can only receive mail; paid plans from $4/month add outbound sending and are payable by card through Stripe or with Monero, Bitcoin or Ethereum. The FAQ says IP addresses are logged for clearnet visits but are not present when the onion address is used, and the privacy policy allows disclosure to law enforcement where legally required. Free accounts are blocked after three months of inactivity.
