What NightTrader Exchange is
NightTrader describes itself as a decentralized multi-signature exchange for Bitcoin, other UTXO coins and Ethereum tokens: the user holds one key, a set of nodes holds the other through a threshold signature, and a timelock returns funds to the user if the nodes stop signing. Trading requires an account registered with an email address or a Bitmessage address. The terms say the platform does not hold custody of funds but acknowledge a small risk to funds in open trades if all nodes were compromised. The site says the front end is open source and links a GitHub organisation; a 2024 beta launch is shown on its roadmap, and no operating company is named.
