An anonymous VPS is a virtual server you can rent with an email address at most and pay for in crypto. Developers use them for nodes, self-hosted tools, VPN endpoints and projects they would rather not tie to a personal card.
The directory kycnot.me records two resolved outages at the VPS provider Kyun: a service outage from 23 to 25 April 2026, and a second from 8 to 9 July 2026 that it attributes to a distributed denial-of-service attack, after which the provider said it had added rate limiting. Whether customers were compensated was not stated. The provider's own website could not be rendered during this review.
Yes. Several providers accept Monero directly. Filter this page by "Accepts Monero".
Do anonymous VPS providers need ID?
The ones listed here do not ask for identity documents at sign-up. Some require a working email address, and most reserve the right to suspend a server over abuse reports.
