Maya Protocol runs MAYAChain, a friendly fork of THORChain: an automated market maker that swaps native assets across chains using on-chain vaults secured by threshold signatures, without wrapped tokens. Users swap through third-party front ends and wallets such as THORSwap, ShapeShift, Rango, El Dorito, CacaoSwap and Vultisig, or directly with transaction memos. Its live pools include BTC, ETH, ZEC, DASH, ADA, ARB and RUNE, paired against the CACAO token; Zcash was integrated in 2024. Fees are a fixed outbound fee plus a dynamic liquidity fee that rises with the swap's size relative to pool depth. The node code is public under the MIT licence.
