What Cake Wallet is
Cake Wallet is an open-source, non-custodial wallet for Monero, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and other assets, available on iOS, Android including a direct APK, and Linux. The site says it has operated since 2018 and is used by more than two million people, and describes the software as trustless because users keep their own private keys. A built-in exchange lets users swap between coins through third-party providers, whose own rules on holds and verification apply to those swaps, and the companion Cake Pay service handles spending. No account is needed to create a wallet.
